Service Positioning (Without SLT) or Instrument Panel Service Positioning
(With SLT) .
2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the air temp actuator.

Air Temp Actuator Screw (Qty: 2)
Tighten: 1.6 N.m (14 lb in)
NOTE:
Refer to Fastener Notice .

Procedure:
Re-calibrate the air temp actuator. Refer to Actuator Recalibration.

AIR TEMPERATURE ACTUATOR REPLACEMENT - LEFT SIDE
Preliminary Procedure
1. Remove the instrument panel to the service position. Refer to Instrument Panel
Service Positioning (Without SLT) or Instrument Panel Service Positioning
(With SLT) .
2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the air temp actuator.
NOTE:
In order to avoid actuator damage, DO NOT apply power to the actuator when it is not installed in
the HVAC module.

Air Temp Actuator Screw (Qty: 2)
Tighten: 1.6 N.m (14 lb in)
NOTE:
Refer to Fastener Notice .

Procedure:
Re-calibrate the air temp actuator. Refer to Actuator Recalibration.

Preliminary Procedure
1. Remove the instrument panel insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator
Replacement (with RPO SLT) or Instrument Panel Insulator Replacement
(without RPO SLT) .
2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the air temp actuator.
NOTE:
In order to avoid actuator damage, DO NOT apply power to the actuator when it is not installed in
the HVAC module.

Procedure:
Re-calibrate the air temp actuator. Refer to Actuator Recalibration .

1. Remove the knee bolster. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement (with RPO SLT) or
Knee Bolster Replacement (without RPO SLT) .
2. Remove the air outlet duct - floor LH. Refer to Floor Air Outlet Duct Replacement
- Left Side .
3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the mode actuator.
NOTE:
In order to avoid actuator damage, DO NOT apply power to the actuator when it is not installed in
the HVAC module.
