FRONT BRAKE ROTOR REPLACEMENT (JD9, JF3, JF7) 4 Procedure 1. If reinstalling the original brake rotor, mark the position of the brake rotor to the wheel stud. 2. Using the J 41013 , clean any rust or corrosion from the mating surface the brake rotor. See Special Tools. 3. Using the J 42450-A , clean any rust or corrosion from the mating surface of the hub/axle flange. See Special Tools. 4. After installing the brake rotor, measure the assembled lateral runout (LRO). Refer to Brake Rotor Assembled Lateral Runout 5. If the brake rotor was refinished or replaced, burnish the brake pads and rotors. Refer to Brake Pad and Rotor Burnishing.
