When the engine hood is closed,
down it to 20 to 30 cm away from
the compartment cover lock, and
then fall it into the latch to close
the engine hood.

5.

After the engine hood is closed,
take   care   to   raise   the   cover
upwards   to   make   sure   that   the
engine hood lock is fully jointed. 

The   engine   hood   shall

be tightly closed during driving.
If it is observed that the cover is
not tightly closed during driving,
you   shall   stop   your   car
immediately and close the cover
well.

Wireless   remote   control
with   anti-theft   function

System*

If you press the 

 

 or 

button   by   accident   (it   is
unnecessary  to   make   the   key
face  to the vehicle directly. For
example,   the   key   is   in   your
pocket),   the   vehicle   door   or
luggage boot door will open.

The range of action of remote control
is   approximately   10   meters.   The
remote   control   may   fail   to   operate
normally   if   the   distance   between   the
remote   control   and   vehicle   is   more
than this range.

If   the   frequency   of
remote   control

 is

interfered,   it   may   make   the
vehicle   fail   to   unlock.   In   this
case,   you   can   directly   use   the
key to lock/unlock. Other short-
distance   wireless   transmitters
can   also   use   the   transmitting
frequency of remote control (e.g.

amateur   radio   station,   medical
facilities,   wireless   headphone,
remote   control,   alarm   system
and etc.)

Door lock and unlock

Press the  

  button once to lock all

doors. The safety LED will display that
the system is in the alarm state, and
the   anti-theft   function   is   activated.
Press the 

 

 button once to unlock all

doors,   and   then   the  burglar  alarm
system is not available.

Burglar alarm system* 

The   function   of   this   system   is   to
prevent   some   one   from   opening   the
doors   or   back   doors   which  their
burglar alarm function isn’t  eliminated
yet. When the burglar alarm system is
triggered, the direction indicator lamp
flashes, and the warning horn gives an
alarm.

Alarm* 

If some one makes an attempt to open
the   doors,   back   doors   which   their
burglar alarm function  isn’t  eliminated
yet, or makes any attempt to start up
the   engine   or   remove   the   radio,   the
burglar   alarm   system   will   give   an
alarm again.

Change   the   battery   of

remote control

If   the   range   of   action   of   the   remote
control   dwindles   away,   you   shall
change   the   battery   of   the   remote
control (battery model: 3V CR 2032).

Change   the   battery   according   to   the
following steps:

1.

Use a flat tool to open the remote
control unit from the side clamps.

2.

Pull   out   the   battery   carefully.
Insert   a   new   battery   into   the
space between the two contacts,

and   make   the   symbol   (+)   open
upward. 

3.

Install  the   remote   control   unit
according   to   the   sequence
opposite  to   the   disassembly
sequence.

The   used   Lithium   battery
can’t be discarded in term of
the   requirements   of   general

domestic   waste.   Please   discard   the
used   battery   according   to   the
regulations

 

of

 

environmental

protection.

Seat   and   Safety

Seat

Correct sitting posture

The seats, head restraints, seat belts

and   airbags   all   are   helpful   for
protecting   the   passengers.   If   you
make   the   best   of   them,   they   would
provide   you   with   much   more
protection. Thus, please stand to the
following:



Use the erect sitting posture. The
lower part of back is backward as
soon   as   possible,   and   the
inclination   of   the   back   of   seat
shall   not   be   more   than   30
degrees.



Adjust the head restraint properly
to make the top of head restraint
flush with  the  upper part of your
head.



Do not make the front seat close
excessively   to   the   instrument

panel.   The   driver   shall   hold   the
steering   wheel   with   the   slightly-
bent   arms   when   driving,   and
his/her   legs   also   shall   bend
slightly   so   that   he/she   can   step
the pedal to the extreme.



The   shoulder   belt   shall   go
through the center of your outside
shoulder,   hug   closely   and   cross
slantways through your chest. Do
not make the belt cross through
your   neck.   The   waist   belt   shall
hug   closely   and   cross   through
your hip other than your stomach.

Please do not adjust the
seat during the period of

vehicle running.

Front  passenger-side   seat
adjustment

Move   the   seat   frontward   and
backward 

Pull   upwards   the   adjusting   lever
located   at   the   outside   front   edge   of

seat   (this   handle   is   shown   as   the
arrow   in   the   left   side   of   the   figure
above) to move the seat frontward and
backward. After the seat is adjusted to
its   designated   position,   release   the
adjusting   lever   and   then   shake   the
seat   frontward   and   backward   to
confirm that the seat is locked in the
skate.

Adjust   the   inclined   height   of
seat cushion

Turn the adjusting knob located
in the edge of seat (the knob is

shown as the central arrow in the
figure   above)   to   adjust   the

inclined   height   of   seat   cushion,
and   then   shake   the   seat   to

confirm that the seat is locked.

Adjust the inclination angle of
seat backrest

Please   make   your   body   contact   the
seat backrest firstly, and then pull the
adjusting  handle of the seat backrest
(the handle is shown as the right arrow
in   the   figure   above).   Change   the
inclined angle of your body to  adjust
the  backrest   to   your  desired  height,
release the adjusting handle, and then
shake the seat backrest frontward and
backward to confirm the seat backrest
is locked. 

Adjust   the   driver-side
electric seat

Move   the   seat  

frontward

  and

backward.   The   inclination   angle

adjustment   of   seat   is   the   same
as the other seat adjustment.
