Chery International      Interior Devices Operation and Adjustment

External power outlet

The external power outlet is positioned
on   the   left-side  protecting  plate   of
luggage boot.

It   is   used   to   supply   the  power  for
external   electric   appliances,   such   as
the on-vehicle fridge and etc.

The   mains   voltage   is
12V,   with   the   rated

power of 120W. Do not use the
electric   appliances   with   rated
power of over 120W, or it may
result   in   a   fire   hazard;   and,
also,   do   not   use  the  electric
appliances   without   12V
voltage, or it may damage the
electric appliances or result in
a fire hazard. 

The   power   supply   of
this outlet is given by

the   storage   battery   on   the
vehicle. It will make the battery
serious shortage of  electricity
and the engine fail to start up
if   the   power   supply   of   the

electric appliances is provided
via   this   outlet  within   a   long
time interval after the engine is
switched off.

Door   Lock   and
Burglar Protection

Key

This key can unlock all locks of your
car. In case of loss, your can get a set
of   new   keys   from   the   Chery
Authorized Service Station. You shall
place the second key in a safe location
for emergency use. 

Central locking system

For this vehicle, you can use the key,
remote control or control switches on
the   driver-side   and   front   passenger-
side   doors   trim   plate   to   operate   all
doors simultaneously. 

Based on the driver-side door, you can
use the key to unlock or lock all doors.

Under   the   condition   of   all   doors
closed, press the lock-up button on the
driver-side   door  trim  plate  to  lock  all
doors   simultaneously;   and   press   the
unlock button on the driver-side door
trim   plate   to   unlock   all   doors

simultaneously.

The safety buttons on all doors move
backwards when unlocking. Move the
safety   buttons   on   all   doors   forwards
when locking. In addition, you can also
pull   the   safety   button   to   lock   these
doors.

To avoid the external force
intruding into  the  vehicle,

you shall drive the vehicle under
the condition of all doors closed.

Door lock

Use the key to lock or unlock the front
doors from the exterior. In the vehicle,
you can use the door handle to unlock.

To lock the rear doors, you can press

the   locked-pole   to   close   the   doors
when you leave your vehicle. 

The   doors   will   be   locked
automatically   when   the

driving   speed   reaches   40  km/h.
The   speed-inductive   door   lock
can   be   manually   removed   only
under the state of locking. After
manually   removed,   the   speed-
inductive   door   lock   doesn’t
operate   any   more,   unless   the
vehicle stops and the engine is
switched off. 

Rear door child safety
lock

Pull   the   rear   door   child   safety   lock
switch   forwards   to   enable   the   child
safety lock. In this case, the rear door
can be opened only from the exterior.
To   unlock,   pull   the   child   safety   lock
switch backwards.

The unlock position of the child safety

lock is shown in the figure above. Pull
the child safety lock forwards to lock
the child safety lock.

In   the   hot   whether,   the
interior

 

temperature

raises   quickly   after   the   engine
stop   operating.   If   the   human
being  or animals is in the high-
temperature

 

environment,

although the time is very short,
they   also   may   be  injured   and
even   die   (including   the   brain
die).   The   infant   is   especially
dangerous.   Thus,   you   shall
check   your   car   before   locking
the doors, and do not leave the
infant or animal in your car. 

Child Safety Lock

Release   lever   for   fuel
filler cap

This release lever is situated in the left
side   of   driver’s   seat   and   near   the
doorsill of left front door. Pull up the
release lever to open the fuel filler cap.

The   fuel   tank   cap   that   is   screwed
down can be placed on the filler cap,
shown in the figure above.

Open the Engine hood

1.

The   handle   of   engine   hood   is
situated   in   the   left   front   side   of
driver’s   seat.   Pull   the   handle
backwards to bounce the engine
hood for a certain of height.

2.

Get to the front of vehicle, there
is a black small handhold on the
right   top   side   of   the   central

meshwork   of   the   engine   hood’s
front end. Pull the small handhold
forwards   and   raise   the   engine
hood   upwards   to   unlock   the
engine hood lock.

3.

Lift   the   engine   hood.   Use   the
support rob on the right front of
the   engine   compartment   to
support the engine hood.
