4. Blowing mode knob

Turn the blowing mode knob to make
the air conditioning operate according
to   the   mode   indicated   by   the   mode
knob.



Foot,   all   output   air   flow   to   the
footwell.



Face,   all   output   air   flow   to   the
area flushing with the face.



Foot   and   Face,   one  part   of   all
output air flow to the footwell, and
the   other   ones   flow   to   the   face
area.



This setting is used to introduce air 
and guide them to flow across the 
front defroster and the conduit near to 
floor simultaneously.

5. Air   conditioning   cooling

switch

Press   the   button  “A/C”  to   make   the
cooling system operate.

The   cooling   system   can   work   only
when the following conditions are met:



The   engine   is   in   state   of

operation.



Ambient   temperature   is   more
than 

-1

℃.



The   fan   switch   is   set   to   1   to   4
position.

When the cooling system works, it not
only   can   reduce   the   indoor   air
temperature   of   the   vehicle,   but   also
reduce the indoor air humidity to make
passengers feel comfortable and  also
prevent   the  vehicle  window   from
fogging. 

To reach the optimal cooling effect, all
windows   shall   be   closed   while   the
cooling system works.

Economical   operation   of

A/C system

The

 

air-conditioned

compressor will consume the

power of the engine when cooling, and
thus   it   makes   oil-consumption
increase. In order to save energy and
reduce oil-consumption, please switch
off the A/C system when you have no
use for the air conditioning.

When the indoor air temperature of

the parked car is very high due to the
direct   exposure   to   sunshine,  it   is
recommended to  open the window or
door of car for a short time to make
the   hot   air   dissipate.   This   helps   to
improve the cooling effect and reduce
the oil-consumption.

Don’t open the A/C system when the
vehicle windows open during driving.

General Specification

The   A/C   system   can   absorb   and
remove  the   moisture  of   cooling   air,
and make the moisture condense into
water on the evaporator. Thus, it is full

normal that there is a handful of water
accumulation under the bottom of car
when it parks for a while.

The   heating   effect   depends   on   the
temperature   of   engine   coolant,   and
thus the heating system can fully exert
its  efficiency  only   after   the   engine
reaches the state of warn-up.

In   order   to   prevent   windows   from
fogging, it is recommended to set the
fan   to   the   Low-Speed   position   when
you drive the car at low speed.

It   isn’t   recommended   to   make   the
cooling air blow to your body directly.

Troubleshooting

The   cooling   system

doesn’t operate



The ambient temperature may be
less than 

-1

℃.



The fuse may blow.

Check   the   fuse   and   replace   it,   if
necessary. If the default isn’t caused
by the fuse, then the cooling system of
air   conditioning   shall   be  switched   off
(to   switch   off  the  button  “A/C”),   and
please   get   to   the   Chery   Authorized
Service   Station   to   make   your   car
examined by professional technicians.

In   case   that   the   cooling   efficiency
decreases   and   air   volume   reduces,
the   system   shall   be   shut   down,   and
examined by professional technicians.

Rear window and rear-

view mirror defrosting

The   control   switch   of   rear

window   and   rear-view   mirror
defrost heater is located at the
central   console   of   instrument
board. Press  the  defrost heater
switch   to   remove  the  light   ice
and   fog   from   the   rear   window
and rear–view mirror.

The  

rear   window   and   rear-view

mirror   defrost   heater   can   work
only   after   the   ignition   circuit
switches on. Press the electrical
heating   switch   to   shut   on/down
the   heating   system.   After   the
heater   is   powered   on,   the
indicator (operating indicator) on
the   switch   lights   to   indicate   the
heater is under heating.

NOTICE:

In case that the rear windscreen is
transparent,   the   heater   shall   be
shut   down   to   reduce   the   current
consumption and save fuel.

After defrosting for (15±3) minutes, or
when the ignition switch turns to OFF
position,   the   rear   window   defrosting
will shut down automatically. When the
defrosting   time   is   less   than   (15±3)
minutes,   please   press   the   defrosting
switch again if you want to manually
stop the rear window defrosting.

Enable the rear window to defrost, and
also   enable   the   heater   to   heat   the
exterior

mirrors

simultaneously.

If   pressing   this   switch   before   the
engine   starts   up,   the   defrosting
function works, but it will stop working
after   the   engine   starts   up,   and   the
state of defrosting won’t be stored.

Light Control

Please   observe   the   related   traffic
regulations when the following lighting
devices are applied.

Headlamp switch

OFF – switch off the embarkation light

 - to light the position light,

the illuminating lamp and license light
for   instruments,   switches  and  other
parts.

nd

 gear 

 - to light the passing lamp

of headlamp

Note:

The   headlamp   is  available   only   after
the  ignition  switch is turn on. And the
headlamp   will   turn   off   automatically
when the engine starts up or after the
ignition switch is turn off.

In the case that the light switch is in
ON   position,   turn   the   handle   in   the
instrument   panel   direction,   and   get
across   the   force   point   and   then
change  to  the high  beam.  When  the
high beam of headlamp is turned on,
the   high   beam   indicator   on   the
instrument   panel   also   light.   Turn   the

handle in the steering wheel direction
to   the   original   position,   and   resume
the low beam

。

Headlamp flash

If   the   headlamp   is   required   to   flash
during   traveling,   it   is   nothing   but   to
turn the handle in the steering wheel
direction   to   the   force   point   and   then
release it. Repeat this action, and the
headlamp will flash continuously.
