4. Remove the tie down hooks (A) and trunk hooks (B) from both trunk side trim panels.

1. Pry out the lids (C) with a trim tool, then remove all of the tie down hooks by unscrewing them.

2. Pry out the caps (D) with a trim tool, then remove both trunk hooks by pulling them out.

5. Detach the clips, then remove the left trunk side trim panel (A) and the right trunk side trim panel (B)

from the trunk compartment.

6. Remove the trunk light (see TRUNK LIGHT TEST/REPLACEMENT ).

7. Lower the trunk upper trim panel (A) to detach the clips (B), and detach the clips (C) from the

navigation unit bracket (D), then remove the panel from the trunk compartment.

8. Install the trim in the reverse of removal, and note these items:



Check if the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, and if necessary, replace them with new
ones.



Push the clips into place securely.

Special Tools Required

KTC trim tool set SOJATP2014 *

* Available through the American Honda Tool and Equipment Program; call 888-424-6857

1. Remove the trunk light (see TRUNK LIGHT TEST/REPLACEMENT ).

2. Pull up on the outside ends of the trunk lid cushions (A), slide them to the outside, and pull them out.

3. Detach all the clips, then remove the trunk lid trim (A).

NOTE:



Put on gloves to protect your hands.



Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage
when prying components.



Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.

4. If necessary, pivot the trunk lid handle (A) down on the forward hooks (B) while prying the rear hook

(C), then remove the handle.

5. Install the trim in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:



Check if the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, and if necessary, replace them with new
ones.



Push the clips into place securely.

HEADLINER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations (see COMPONENT
LOCATION INDEX ) and the precautions and procedures (see PRECAUTIONS AND PROCEDURES )
before doing repairs or service.

1. Remove these items:



A-pillar trim, both sides (see TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION - PILLAR AREAS )



Roof console (see ROOF CONSOLE REPLACEMENT )



Front individual map light (see AMBIENT LIGHT TEST )

NOTE:



Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage
when prying components.



When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape to
prevent damage.



Take care not to bend or scratch the headliner.



Be careful not to damage the dashboard and other interior trim.
