protective foil and adhere to lock 
cylinder housing using two-sided 
adhesive tape

- Disconnect connector for 
micro-switch / wiring 
harness.

- Remove operating rod at 
actuator lever

- Remove screws 

 

Item -

housing with VW symbol 
from rear lid.

 

Installation is performed in 
reverse order of removal.

To do so, press catches downward.

- Disengage catches - arrows - of micro-switch - 1 - from 
lock cylinder housing - 2 - . 

- Remove micro-switch - 1 - from lock cylinder - 2 - .
