REMOVAL CAUTION: DO NOT LET TENSIONER ARM SNAP Belt tension is not adjustable. Belt adjustment is maintained by an automatic ( spring load ) belt ten- (1) Disconnect negative battery cable from battery. Remove belt, then slowly rotate the tensioner into INSTALLATION Belt tension is not adjustable. Remove pulley from ten- sioner. INSTALLATION (1) Install pulley and pulley bolt to tensioner. Tighten bolt to 61 N·m (45 ft. lbs.). (2) Position tensioner assembly and install mount- ing screw tighten screw to 67 N·m (50 ft. lbs.).
