DOOR

LOCKING

Purpose: -

A

utomatic

locking

of

both

doors

w

hen

one

of

the

doors

is

locked

w

ith

the

key/button.

utomatic

locking

of

both

doors

using

remote

control.

If

one

of

the

two

doors

is

unlocked

using

the

key/button,

only

this

door

will

be

unlocked;

the

other

door

will

remain

locked.

-

A

utomatic

unlocking

of

the

driver

’s

side

door

using

remote

control.

Conditions:

both

doors

locked.

-

This

is

equivalent

opening

a

door

without

central

using

remote

control.

If

the

door

unlocking

button

on

the

remote

control

unit

is

pressed,

the

remote

control

unit

will

send

a

fixed-code

signal

to

the

CDS

electronic

unit

(D905).

W

hen

the

CDS

electronic

unit

(D905)

recognises

the

remote

control

unit

on

the

basis

of

the

fixed

code,

the

remote

control

unit

w

ill

send

coded

messages

to

the

unit

(D905).

T

hese

m

essages

are

coded

with

a

rolling

code.

This

rolling

code

will

change

every

time

the

remote

control

is

operated.

After

the

CDS

electronic

unit

(D905)

has

accepted

the

m

essages,

it

w

ill

send

a

signal

to

the

V

IC

(D900).

A

s

a

result,

the

VIC

will

switch

on

the

interior

lighting

for

a

specific

period

of

time.

The

CDS

unit

(D905)

now

switches

pin

13

to

earth.

T

his

w

ill

only

activate

the

motor

(B199).

The

CDS

unit

(D905)

checks

the

status

of

the

output

to

the

m

otor

(B199).

T

his

is

done

to

ensure

that

the

D

L

connection

is

not

connected

to

earth

when

the

m

otor

is

in

the

“open”

position.

The

CDS

unit

can

deduce

from

this

whether

the

driver

’s

side

door

has

been

successfully

unlocked.

The

CDS

electronic

unit

(D905)

will

then

send

a

message

to

the

V

IC

(D900)

via

pin

2

stating

that

the

driver

’s

side

door

has

been

successfully

unlocked.

If

the

driver

’s

side

door

is

not

unlocked

properly

after

three

attempts,

a

m

essage

will

be

sent

to

the

V

IC

(D900)

to

inform

it

that

the

door

has

not

unlocked

successf

ully

.

doors

driver

’s

co-driver

’s

sides

are

locked

using

the

remote

control

unit.

When

the

lock

doors

button

on

the

remote

control

unit

is

pressed,

a

procedure

starts

that

is

comparable

to

the

procedure

for

opening

the

doors.
