Symptom: P0712-TRANSMISSION TEMPERATURE SENSOR LOW When Monitored and Set Condition: P0712-TRANSMISSION TEMPERATURE SENSOR LOW When Monitored: Continuously with the ignition on and engine running. Set Condition: The DTC will set when the monitored Temperature Sensor voltage drops below 0.078 volts for the period of 0.45 seconds. POSSIBLE CAUSES RELATED DTC’S PRESENT TRANSMISSION TEMPERATURE SENSOR SIGNAL CIRCUIT SHORT TO GROUND TRANSMISSION TEMPERATURE SENSOR POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE INTERMITTENT WIRING AND CONNECTORS TEST ACTION APPLICABILITY 1 NOTE: Low fluid level can be the cause of many transmission problems. If t, read Engine DTC’s. Check and repair all Engine DTC’s prior to performing any transmission symptom diagnostics. t, read Transmission DTC’s. Record all DTC’s and 1 Trip Failures.
