Turn the ignition switch to ON (II). 5. Measure the voltage between XM receiver connector A (14P) terminal No. 11 and body ground. Go to step 6. Repair open in the wire between the XM receiver and the navigation unit. 6. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0). 7. Measure the voltage between XM receiver connector A (14P) terminal No. 2 and body ground. Go to step 8. Substitute a known- good XM receiver (see page 23-82), and recheck. If 10 V or more are 8. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II). 9. Measure the voltage between XM receiver connector A (14P) terminal No. 2 and body ground. Go to step 10. Substitute a known- good navigation unit (see page 23-155), and recheck. If 0.5 V or less are 10. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0). 11. Disconnect navigation unit connector E (14P), and XM receiver connector A (14P). 12. Check for continuity between navigation unit connector E (14P) terminal No. 9 and No. 10 and Go to step 13. Short to body ground in the wire between the XM receiver and the navigation unit. Replace the Wire side of female terminals Wire side of female terminals Wire side of female terminals Wire side of female terminals Is ther e less than 0.1 V ? Is ther e 10 V or mor e pr esent?
