Installing  

  

  

-  Connect electrical connection. 

  

  

Notes:  

  

  

 To ease illustration, glove compartment is 

shown removed. 

    

Perform functional check of light and switch: Light 
must go out with glovebox lid closed.  

 Where applicable, note orientation of switch 

when installing: light switch-off lever must be in 
down position. 

-  Insert lens with bulb holder and microswitch in 

glove box and clip-in.

Rear Reading Lights -W11- & -
W12-, removing and installing 

 

  

  

Removing  

  

  

CAUTION!

 

  

  

Before beginning repairs on the 
electrical system:

 

  

  

 

Switch off all electrical 
consumers.

 

  

  

 

Switch ignition off and remove 
ignition key.

 

    

Installing  

Install in reverse order of removal.  

-  Insert screwdriver into lens recess 

and carefully pry reading light out 
of mounting frame. 

-  Disconnect electrical connection.

Before beginning repairs on the 
electrical system:

 

  

  

 

Switch off all electrical 
consumers.

 

  

  

 

Switch ignition off and remove 
ignition key.

 

    

Installing  

Install in reverse order of removal.  

-  Insert screwdriver at top behind 

the lens and carefully pry out. 

-  Disconnect electrical connector.
