Carry out following work:
– Removing front door trim ⇒  General body repairs, interior;

Rep. gr.  70 ; Door trim .

– Detach connector (if there is one) for electric mirror heater.
– Undo bolt -2- for exterior mirror -1-.

– Thread cables for operating exterior mirror through the hole in

the door and remove exterior mirror -1-.

Carry out following work:
– Check that the foam part -4- is correctly installed in the door.
– Thread cables for operating the exterior mirror -3- through

opening in door.

– Push exterior mirror -1- into window channel -2- from below

-arrow a- and press the lower part onto the door -arrow b-.

Note

The removal and installation sequence is only for the right exterior

mirror. Removal and installation of the left exterior mirror are sim‐
