CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 

NOTE:

Some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (see 
INITIALIZATION ).

Removal & Installation 

1. Open the glove box. Slide off the damper. See Fig. 1.

NOTE:

Manufacturer's terminology for this filter is Clean Air Filter.

NOTE:

Some vehicles are not automatically equipped with a cabin air filter. They may 
be a dealer option, at time of vehicle purchase.

2. Push in each side of the glove box to disconnect the claws. See Fig. 2.

3. Remove the filter cover. See Fig. 3.

4. Pull the filter out of the filter outlet. See Fig. 4.
