INSUFFICIENT COOLING HAC-245 < SYMPTOM DIAGNOSIS > [MANUAL A/C (TYPE 2)] C D E F G H J K L M A B HAC N O P 9. CHECK REFRIGERANT PURITY 1. Connect recovery/recycling equipment to vehicle. 2. Confirm refrigerant purity in supply tank using recovery/recycling and refrigerant identifier. YES >> GO TO 10. NO >> Check contaminated refrigerant. Refer to HAC-255, "Working with HFC-134a (R-134a)" . 10. CHECK FOR EVAPORATOR FREEZE UP Start engine and run A/C. Check for evaporator freeze up. YES >> Perform performance test diagnoses. Refer to HAC-245, "Diagnostic Work Flow" . NO >> GO TO 11. 11. CHECK REFRIGERANT PRESSURE Check refrigerant pressure with manifold gauge connected. Refer to Is the inspection result normal? YES >> Perform performance test diagnoses. Refer to HAC-245, "Diagnostic Work Flow" . NO >> GO TO 12. 12. CHECK AIR DUCTS Check ducts for air leaks. YES >> System OK. NO >> Repair air leaks.
