< REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION >

WARNING:

Before servicing, turn ignition switch OFF, disconnect battery negative terminal and wait 3 minutes or
more.

CAUTION:

When removing, always use a remover tool that is made of plastic.

REMOVAL

Remove front body side welt LH. Refer to

INT-23, "BODY SIDE WELT : Removal and Installation"

Remove instrument side finisher LH.

Insert a remover tool (A) into lower space.

Pull the instrument side finisher LH crosswise, and then disen-
gage the pawls

CAUTION:

Apply protective tape (B) on the part to protect it from dam-
age.

Remove front pillar garnish LH. Refer to

INT-21, "FRONT PILLAR GARNISH : Removal and Installation"

Remove front pillar lower garnish LH. Refer to

INT-22, "FRONT PILLAR LOWER GARNISH : Removal

and Installation"

Remove speaker grille LH.

Pull up speaker grille LH, and then disengage pawl.

Pull back speaker grille LH, and then disengage metal clips.

Remove front squawker LH. Refer to the following.
• For Display audio: Refer to

AV-114, "Removal and Installation"

• For Base audio with separate display: Refer to

AV-254, "Removal and Installation"

INSTRUMENT PANEL ASSEMBLY

• For Bose audio without navigation: Refer to

AV-409, "Removal and Installation"

• For Bose audio with navigation: Refer to

AV-615, "Removal and Installation"

Remove instrument lower cover LH.

Insert a remover tool (A) between instrument lower cover LH,
and instrument lower cover center to disengage pawls as shown
in the figure.

Pull back instrument lower cover LH.

CAUTION:

Apply protective tape (B) on the part to protect it from dam-
age.

Remove instrument lower cover RH.

Insert remover tool (A) between instrument lower cover RH, and
instrument lower cover center to disengage the pawls as shown
in the figure.

Pull back instrument lower cover RH, and then disengage clip.

CAUTION:

Apply protective tape (B) on the part to protect it from dam-
age.

Remove instrument lower cover center.

Without NAVI
