1. Turn ignition switch ON and wait 2 seconds or more.

2. Perform “Self Diagnostic Result” of “METER/M&A” using CONSULT.
Is DTC “U1000” displayed?

YES

CHECK COMBINATION METER INPUT SIGNAL

1. Select “METER/M&A” using CONSULT.

2. Select “SPEED METER” in “Data Monitor”.

3. Check the “SPEED METER” value and compare with the speedometer of the combination meter. Speed-

ometer and Data Monitor values should be close. 

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

>> Perform “Self Diagnostic Result” of “ABS”. Refer to 

BRC-42, "CONSULT Function"

NO

>> Replace combination meter. Refer to 

MWI-84, "Removal and Installation"

.
