A/C auto amp. controls heated seat relay and rear heated seat relay.

Rear heated seat switch

Rear heated seat switch changes ON/OFF operation and HIGH/LOW operation, 
and supplies power source to rear heated seat. It is integrated into front passen-
ger’s seatback.

HEATED SEAT SYSTEM : Heated Seat Relay

Heated seat relay is controlled by A/C auto amp. and supplies power source to front heated seats and rear

heated seat relay.

HEATED SEAT SYSTEM : Front Seat Heater

Front seat heater is located inside of front heated seat cushion and

seat back, and operates with power source provided via front heated

seat switch.

HEATED SEAT SYSTEM : Rear Heated Seat Switch

LOW operation, and supplies power source to rear heated seats.

HEATED SEAT SYSTEM : Rear Heated Seat Relay

HEATED SEAT SYSTEM : System Description

• Heated seat system (Driver side, passenger side and rear seats) consists of heated seat relay, heated seat

switch, seat heater and A/C auto amp.

• Heated seat relay and rear heated seat relay are turned ON by A/C auto amp. to provide power source to

the heated seat system when any of the following conditions is met.

- The vehicle is set to READY.

- The timer A/C control is operating. Refer to 

HAC-38, "AUTOMATIC AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM : A/C-

Heater Timer (Climate Ctrl. Timer)"

.

- The remote A/C control is operating. Refer to 

HAC-39, "AUTOMATIC AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM :

Remote Climate Control"

.

• Heated seat switch changes ON/OFF operation and HIGH/LOW mode of heated seat system.

• Heated seat switch has HIGH/LOW indicators which indicates the system operation condition.
