• Operates the seat sliding motor for a constant amount.

Recognizes the following status and transmits it to the driver seat control unit via 
CAN communication.
• Front door LH: OPEN/CLOSE
• Ignition switch position: ACC/ON

Description

WORK SUPPORT

Changes the setting of each function.

SELF-DIAG RESULTS

Performs self-diagnosis for the auto drive positioner system and displays the results.

DATA MONITOR

Displays input signals transmitted from various switches and sensors to driver seat con-
trol unit in real time.

CAN DIAG SUPPORT MNTR

The result of transmit/receive diagnosis of CAN communication can be read.

ACTIVE TEST

Drive each output device.

ECU PART NUMBER

Displays part numbers of driver seat control unit parts.

Description

• The seat sliding motor is installed to the seat frame assembly.

• The seat sliding motor is installed with the driver seat control unit.

• Slides the seat frontward/rearward by changing the rotation direction of sliding motor.

DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

1.

 STEP 1

Turn ignition switch ON.

>> GO TO 2

2.

 STEP 2

Check “Self diagnostic result” with CONSULT.
Is the DTC detected? 

YES

>> Perform diagnosis procedure. Refer to 

ADP-31, "Diagnosis Procedure"

.

NO

>> Inspection End.

NOTE:

First perform diagnosis for B2126 if B2126 is detected. Refer to 

ADP-43, "Diagnosis Procedure"

.

Diagnosis Procedure

Regarding Wiring Diagram information, refer to 

ADP-128, "Wiring Diagram"

1.

PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

1. Turn ignition switch ON.

2. Check “Self diagnostic result” with CONSULT.

3. Erase the DTC.

4. Perform DTC confirmation procedure. Refer to 

ADP-31, "DTC Logic"

.

Is the DTC displayed again?

YES

>> GO TO 2.

NO

>> Check intermittent incident. Refer to 

GI-37, "Intermittent Incident"

.

CHECK SLIDING MOTOR CIRCUIT (POWER SHORT)

1. Turn ignition switch OFF.

2. Disconnect sliding motor and driver seat control unit connector.

3. Check voltage between sliding motor harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

>> GO TO 3.

NO

>> Repair circuit for short to voltage.

CHECK DRIVER SEAT CONTROL UNIT OUTPUT SIGNAL 

1. Connect driver seat control unit connector.

2. Check voltage between driver seat control unit harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

>> GO TO 4.

NO

>> Replace driver seat control unit. Refer to 

ADP-149, "Removal and Installation"

.

CHECK INTERMITTENT INCIDENT

Refer to 

GI-37, "Intermittent Incident"

>> Inspection End.
