Check that there is no malfunction of AUX equipment main body before performing a diagnosis.

RELATED TO REAR CONTROL SWITCH

Symptoms

Probable malfunction location

No voice sound is heard when 
AUX mode is selected.

Voice sound is heard when other modes 
are selected.

AUX sound signal circuits malfunction between auxiliary 
input jacks and AV control unit.

AUX image is not displayed 

displayed in black and nothing can be dis-
played

• RGB area synchronizing (YS) signal circuit malfunc-

tion between AV control unit and display unit.

• Horizontal synchronizing (HP) signal circuit malfunc-
