Connect another iPod

®

 and check if the symptom is reproduced or not. If the symptom is reproduced, diag-

nose the vehicle. If no malfunction is detected, replace the iPod harness.
NOTE:

AUX and DVD image are not 
displayed.

Front display unit is not displayed.

Perform CONSULT-III self-diagnosis.
Refer to 

AV-87, "CONSULT-III Function (MULTI AV)"

.

Front display unit is normal.

Composite image signal circuit malfunction between vid-
eo distributor and rear display unit.
Refer to 

AV-124, "Diagnosis Procedure"

AUX and DVD image are roll-
ing.

Front display unit displayed, AUX and 
DVD image are not rolling. 

Composite synchronizing signal circuit malfunction be-
tween video distributor and rear display unit.
Refer to

 Rear display unit does not 
open.

No sound from woofer.

• Woofer power supply and ground circuit.

Refer to 

AV-112, "WOOFER : Diagnosis Procedure"

• Sound signal woofer circuit between BOSE amp. and 

woofer.

• Woofer amp. ON signal circuit between BOSE amp. 

and woofer.

There is no sound from center speaker.

Sound signal center speaker circuit.

There is sound from only specific places 
(RH front, RH rear, LH front and LH rear).

Sound signal circuit of malfunctioning system.

Satellite radio is not received.

“ANTENNA” is not displayed even when 
the channel is turned to 0 in Satellite ra-
dio mode.

Perform the following inspection procedure.
1.

Check antenna base mounting nut for looseness.
NOTE:
Tightening torque: 6.5 N·m (0.66 kg-m, 58 in-lb.)

2.

Visually check for satellite radio antenna feeder.

3.

Replace the antenna base.
Refer to 

AV-557, "Exploded View"

.

4.

Replace the satellite radio tuner.
Refer to 

AV-558, "Exploded View"

.

“ANTENNA” is displayed when the chan-
nel is turned to 0 in Satellite radio mode.

Perform the following inspection procedure.
1.

Check the connection between satellite radio tuner 
and antenna connector.

2.

Check the connection between satellite radio anten-
na and antenna feeder.

3.

Check antenna feeder for open circuit.

4.

Replace the antenna base.
Refer to 

AV-557, "Exploded View"

.

5.

Replace the satellite radio tuner.
Refer to 

AV-558, "Exploded View"

.

The sound of satellite radio is 
not heard.

Other audio sounds are normal.

Satellite radio sound signal circuit between AV control unit 
and satellite radio tuner.

It does not change to satellite 
radio mode.

There is malfunction in the CONSULT-III 
self-diagnosis result.

Perform CONSULT-III self-diagnosis.

AM/FM radio is not received.

Other audio sounds are normal.

• Antenna amp. ON signal circuit.

For front display unit, AUX im-

• Horizontal synchronizing (HP) signal circuit malfunc-

tion between AV control unit and front display unit.

between AV control unit and front display unit.

There is no AUX sound from

tion between video distributor and rear display unit.

For rear display unit, AUX and
