ECH-286 < DTC/CIRCUIT DIAGNOSIS > [HRA2DDT] P2119 ELECTRIC THROTTLE CONTROL FUNCTION 5. CHECK ELECTRIC THROTTLE CONTROL ACTUATOR MOVING CONDITION Check electric throttle control actuator moving condition. YES >> GO TO 6. NO >> Repair or replace error-detected parts. 6. PERFORM THROTTLE VALVE CLOSED POSITION LEARNING Perform throttle valve closed position learning for two times. Refer to >> GO TO 7. 7. CHECK THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR INPUT SIGNAL 1. Turn ignition switch ON and select “DATA MONITOR” mode of “ENGINE” with CONSULT. 2. Select “THL POS TK 1” and “THL POS TK 2”. 3. Start engine and warm it up to normal operating temperature. 4. Drive and accelerate vehicle. CAUTION: Always drive vehicle at a safe speed. 5. Check the indication. Is the indication fluctuation normal? YES >> GO TO 8. NO >> GO TO 9. 8. CHECK ELECTRIC THROTTLE CONTROL ACTUATOR CIRCUIT 1. Disconnect electric throttle control actuator and ECM harness connector. 2. Check the continuity between electric throttle control actuator harness connector and ECM harness con- 3. Also check harness for short to ground and short to power. Is the inspection result normal? YES >> GO TO 9. NO >> Repair or replace error-detected parts. 9. CHECK ELECTRIC THROTTLE CONTROL ACTUATOR ECH-284, "Component Inspection (Throttle Control Motor)" . Is the inspection result normal? YES >> Check intermittent incident. Refer to GI-41, "Intermittent Incident" . NO >> Replace electric throttle control actuator. Check resistance between electric throttle control actuator harness connectors terminals under the follow- Electric throttle control actu- ator ECM Continuity Connector Terminal Connector Terminal F46 1 F18 132 Existed 2 136 3 F17 90 4 82 5 65 6 87 |
