EXL-176 < DTC/CIRCUIT DIAGNOSIS > [HALOGEN TYPE] DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHT RELAY CIRCUIT 5. With operating the test item, check voltage between IPDM E/R harness connector and ground. Is the inspection result normal? YES >> Daytime running light relay circuit is normal. NO-1 >> Fixed at 0 – 1 V: GO TO 6. NO-2 >> Fixed at 9 – 16 V: GO TO 5. 5. CHECK DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHT REQUEST SIGNAL With CONSULT 1. Select “DTRL REQ” in “Data Monitor” mode of “IPDM E/R” using CONSULT. 2. With operating the daytime running light ON condition, check the monitor status. Is the inspection result normal? YES >> Replace IPDM E/R. Refer to PCS-37, "Removal and Installation" NO >> Replace BCM. Refer to BCS-94, "Removal and Installation" 6. CHECK DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHT RELAY CONTROL SIGNAL CIRCUIT 1. Turn ignition switch OFF. 2. Remove daytime running light relay. 3. Disconnect IPDM E/R harness connector. 4. Check continuity between IPDM E/R harness connector and daytime running light relay harness connec- tor. Is the inspection result normal? YES >> Replace IPDM E/R. Refer to PCS-37, "Removal and Installation" NO >> Repair or replace harness. Component Inspection INFOID:0000000012201756 1. CHECK DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHT RELAY 1. Turn ignition switch OFF. 2. Remove daytime running light relay. 3. Apply battery voltage to daytime running light relay between terminals 1 and 2. 4. Check continuity of daytime running light relay terminals. Is the inspection result normal?
