CHECK HAZARD SWITCH CIRCUIT

Use the hazard warning switch circuit.

Do the hazard warning lamps operate normally?

YES

>> GO TO 2.

NO

>> Repair hazard warning lamps. Refer to 

BCS-9, "System Diagram"

.

Check that all doors are automatically locked at the vehicle speed of more than 12 km/h (7 MPH).

CHECK VEHICLE SPEED SIGNAL CIRCUIT

Check vehicle speed signal “VEHICLE SPEED” in “Data Monitor” mode.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

>> GO TO 2.

NO

>> Repair or replace vehicle speed signal circuit.

CHECK INTELLIGENT KEY FUNCTION

Do doors lock and unlock when using the Intelligent Key buttons?
YES or NO?

YES

>> Intelligent Key is OK. 

NO

>> GO TO 2.

2.

CHECK INTELLIGENT KEY BATTERY

Check by connecting a resistance (approximately 300

Ω

) so that the

current value becomes about 10 mA.

Is the measurement value within specification?

YES

>> Intelligent Key battery is OK.

NO

>> Replace Intelligent Key battery.
