System Description

DOUBLE-CONE SYNCHRONIZER

Double-cone synchronizer is adopted for 1st and 2nd gears to
reduce operating force of the shift lever.
(1): Outer baulk ring 
(2): 2nd main gear
(3): Synchronizer cone
(4): Inner baulk ring
(5): 1st main gear
(6): 1st-2nd coupling sleeve

REVERSE GEAR NOISE PREVENTION FUNCTION (SYNCHRONIZING METHOD)

5th-reverse synchronizer hub assembly consists of reverse baulk
ring, reverse synchronizer cone and reverse gear gate assembly.
When the lever is shifted to the reverse position, the construction
allows smooth shift operation by stopping the input shaft rotation by
frictional force of synchronizer.
(1): 5th-reverse synchronizer hub assembly
(2): Lock washer
(3): Reverse synchronizer cone
(4): Reverse baulk ring
(5): Input shaft nut
(6): Reverse gear gate assembly
