GDI – Troubleshooting 13A-91 <A/T> Replace the engine-A/T-ECU. NG OK NG Repair Check the trouble symptoms. NG Check the harness wire between the engine-A/T-ECU and the OK NG Repair Check the trouble symptoms. (5) NG Check the following connectors:: B-18, B-45 (4) NG Check the harness wire between the engine-A/T-ECU and the (2), (3) NG Check the harness wire between the engine-A/T-ECU and the OK NG Repair Check the ignitio switch. (Refer to GRUOP 54 – Ignition Switch.) NG Check the harness wire between engine-A/T-ECU and ignition OK NG Repair OK Measure at the engine-A/T-ECU connector B-85, B-86. Disconnect the connector, and measure at the harness side. (1) Voltage betwee4n 98 and earth (Ignition switch: ON) (2) Voltage between 49 and earth OK: System voltage (3) Voltage between 41, 47 and earth (Ignition switch: ON) OK: System voltage (When terminal 49 is shorted to earth) (4) Continuity between 42, 48 and earth OK: Continuity (5) Voltage between 66 and earth OK: System voltage (1) NG Check the following connectors: B-18, B-58 Check the following connectors: B-85, B-86 Check the trouble symptoms. INSPECTION PROCEDURE 26 Engine control relay and ignition switch-IG system Probable cause When the ignition switch ON signal is input to the engine-ECU <M/T> or Malfunction of the ignition switch Malfunction of the engine control relay Open circuit or short-circuited harness wire of the Malfunction of the engine-ECU <M/T> Malfunction of the engine-A/T-ECU <A/T> Check the harness wire between the OK Check the engine-ECU OK Measure at the engine control relay Disconnect the connector, and Voltage between 3, 4 and earth NG Check the engine control relay.
