GDI – Troubleshooting 13A-31 Code No. P0141 Oxygen sensor heater (rear) system Probable cause Range of Check The engine coolant temperature is approx. 20 C or more. The oxygen sensor heater (rear) remains on. The engine speed is 50 r/min or more. Battery voltage is 11 – 16 V. Set Conditions The current, which flows through the oxygen sensor heater (rear), is 0.2 A Malfunction of oxygen sensor heater (rear) Open or short circuit in the oxygen sensor heater Malfunction of engine-ECU <M/T> Malfunction of engine-A/T-ECU <A/T> OK Repair OK Measure at engine-ECU connector Measure the voltage at the Ignition switch: ON Voltage between terminal 90 NG Check the following connectors: NG OK Check the harness wires between Measure at oxygen sensor (rear) Disconnect the connector and Resistance between terminals 3 Ω NG Replace Repair OK Measure at oxygen sensor (rear) Disconnect the connector and Ignition switch: ON Voltage between terminal 3 and NG Check the following connector: NG OK Check the following connector: NG Repair OK Check the trouble symptoms.
