TROUBLESHOOTING <A/T> AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION (FF) 23A-83 DIAGNOSIS STEP 1. MUT-III data list Item 54: Relay voltage (Refer to data list reference Q: Is the check result normal? YES : Intermittent malfunction (Refer to GROUP 00 − How to Cope with Intermittent NO : Go to Step 2. STEP 2. Check the A/T control relay connector Refer to Q: Is the check result normal? YES : Go to Step 3. NO : Replace the A/T control relay. STEP 3. Connector check: B-14X A/T control Check for the contact with terminals. Q: Is the check result normal? YES : Go to Step 4. NO : Repair the defective connector. STEP 4. Measure the voltage at A/T control relay Disconnect the A/T control relay, and measure the OK: System voltage Q: Is the check result normal? YES : Go to Step 8. NO : Go to Step 5. STEP 5. Connector check: A-16 intermediate Check for the contact with terminals. Q: Is the check result normal? YES : Go to Step 6. NO : Repair the defective connector. STEP 6. Check the harness between A/T control Check the power supply line for short or open circuit. Q: Is the check result normal? YES : Go to Step 7.
