TWEETER

• The 3.5 cm aluminium hard dome tweeter (ridge-

line dome tweeter), established for vehicles with 
eight speakers, enables playback of at least 50-
Hz ultra high frequency by using aluminium dia-
phragm. Furthermore, by adopting the ridgeline 
dome (CATS EYE), it can play highly pure and 
clear treble with less distortion compared with the 
balance dome tweeter established for vehicles 
with six speakers.

• Also for vehicles with eight speakers, the punch-

ing metal type tweeter cover has been 
installed.With the punching metal type, the metal 
is adopted for the punching section to enlarge the 
punching opening, enabling the playback of 
cleaner treble.

FRONT DOOR SPEAKER
For the diaphragm of 16 cm metalized hybrid PP 
(polypropylene) diaphragm speaker established for 
vehicles with eight speakers, the PP (polypropylene) 
has been adopted. In addition, the vacuum-evapo-
rated metal on PP (polypropylene) surface improves 
sound propagation speed of paper cone, playing 
crisper bass sound and life-like sound.

REAR DOOR SPEAKER
The 16 cm metalized hybrid PP (polypropylene) dia-
phragm coaxial 2 way speaker, established for vehi-
cles with eight speakers, is the 2 way speaker that 
the balance dome tweeter is combined with the 
speaker whose diaphragm sound propagation speed 
is improved by vacuum-evaporated metal on PP 
(polypropylene) with the same manner as the front 
door speaker. It can play high quality sound from tre-
ble to bass.

For vehicles with eight speakers, in addition to the 
improvement of speaker performance, the sound-
absorbing sheet and damping sheet have been 
attached to the waterproof film of front door and rear 
door. This reduces buzz noise from the door and the 
reflected sound inside the door which comes from 
the service hole of the door, providing higher quality 
of sound without distortion.

The 16-cm speaker (with 3 tabs, fixed by rotating) 
which can be installed by one-touch improves serv-
iceability.
