GENERAL INFORMATION

The leaf spring type rear suspension featuring the 
simple structure and outstanding strength has been 
adopted.

• The spring is fixed at the top to increase ground 

clearance of the leaf spring. <2WD (High rider), 
4WD>

• The suspension geometry has been optimized to 

assure stability under loaded condition and to 
improve adhesion under unladen condition, and 
the SUV-like steering stability has been achieved.

1. Install the bolt from the outside toward the inside 

of vehicle.

2. Install the shackle assembly from the inside 

toward the outside of vehicle.

Be sure to install the shock absorber washers (outer 
and inner) in the specified direction.

INSPECTION

• Check the rubber parts for cracks and wear.

• Check the shock absorber for malfunction, oil 

leakage, or abnormal noise.

• Check the leaf springs for damage or deteriora-

tion.

• Check the U-bolt for cracks or bends.
