Removal and Installation

Removal

1. Raise and support the vehicle. For additional information, refer to

Section

 100-02 Jacking and Lifting

2. Remove the exhaust front muffler. For additional information, refer to

Section

 309-00 Exhaust System

.

3. Remove the heat shield.

4. Disconnect the electrical connector.

5. Remove the actuator.

6. Remove and discard the filter.

Installation

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

1. Install a new filter

2. 

CAUTION: Make sure bolts are tightened evenly.

Tighten to 3 Nm.
