Overview

Engine Hood and Fender

III、Engine Compartment Cover Hinge Assembly

（I）Removal

1. Open engine compartment cover

2. Disconnect battery negative electrode Refer to “Disconnection and connection of battery electrode”

3. Remove engine compartment cover assembly Refer to “Engine compartment cover assembly”

4. Remove upper cover plate of front bumper Refer to “Upper cover plate of front bumper”

5. Remove front bumper assembly Refer to “Front bumper assembly”

6. Remove fixed bracket of front bumper Refer to “Fixed bracket of front bumper”

7. Remove front combination light assembly Refer to “Front combination light assembly”

8. Remove fender cover assembly Refer to “Fender cover assembly”

9. Remove triangle cover plate assembly Refer to “Fender”

10. Remove fender Refer to “Fender”

11. Remove engine compartment cover hinge assembly

1). Mark position of engine compartment cover hinge assembly,

remove 2 fixed bolts that connecting engine compartment

cover hinge assembly and vehicle body both in left and

right side, and take down engine compartment cover hinge

assembly;

（II）Installation

1. Install engine compartment cover hinge assembly

1). Install 2 fixed bolts connecting engine compartment cover

hinge assembly and vehicle body in both left and right

side according to marked position;

Tighten torque

30~36N·m

2. Install fender

3. Install front triangle cover plate assembly

4. Install fender cover assembly

5. Install front combination light assembly

6. Install fixed bracket of front bumper

7. Install front bumper assembly

8. Install upper cover plate of front bumper

9. Install engine compartment cover assembly

10. Connect battery negative electrode

11. Close engine compartment cover

IV、Engine Compartment Cover Supporting Rod Assembly

（I）Removal

1. Open engine compartment cover

2. Remove engine compartment cover supporting rod assembly

1). Remove supporting end of supporting rod from engine

compartment cover inner panel;

△ Note When removing and installing engine compartment

cover  supporting  rod  assembly,  must  use
attached  supporting  to  prevent  vehicle  damage
or  personal  injury.  Let  assistant  to  support
engine compartment cover if necessary.

2). Remove the other end of supporting rod from installation

hole of supporting rod bracket, and take down installation

guard jacket of supporting rod.

3). Take down fixed buckle of engine compartment cover

supporting rod assembly;

（II）Installation

1. Install engine compartment cover supporting rod assembly

1). Connect fixed buckle of engine compartment cover

supporting rod assembly to engine compartment cover

inner panel;

△ Note

Pay attention to make open direction of buckle

to be the same with arrow direction on engine
compartment cover inner panel.

2). Pre-install engine compartment cover supporting rod

assembly to guard jacket of engine compartment cover

supporting rod assembly, and connect to supporting rod

installation hole of engine compartment cover inner panel;

3). Connect engine compartment cover supporting rod

assembly to supporting rod fixed buckle of engine

compartment cover inner panel;

△ Note

After installation, fix supporting rod end of engine

compartment cover supporting rod assembly to

vehicle body installation hole, and check whether

engine compartment cover supporting rod assembly

works normally.

2. Close engine compartment cover

V、Engine Compartment Cover Lock Assembly

（I）Removal

1. Open engine compartment cover

2. Remove upper cover plate of front bumper Refer to “Upper cover plate of front bumper”

3. Remove engine compartment cover lock assembly

1). Remove 3 fixed bolts of engine compartment cover lock

assembly;

2). Disconnect engine compartment cover wiredrawing from

engine compartment cover lock assembly, and take down

engine compartment cover lock assembly;

（II）Installation

1. Install engine compartment cover lock assembly

1). Connect engine compartment cover wiredrawing to engine

compartment cover lock assembly;

2). Install and tighten 3 fixed bolts of engine compartment

cover lock assembly;

Tighten torque

7~11N·m

△ Note

Check whether engine compartment cover

wiredrawing and engine compartment cover lock
assembly are fitting well.

2. Install upper cover plate of front bumper

3. Close engine compartment cover

VI、Engine Compartment Cover Wiredrawing

（I）Removal

1. Open engine compartment cover

2. Remove upper cover plate of front bumper Refer to “Upper cover
plate of front bumper”

3. Remove engine compartment cover lock assembly Refer to “Engine
compartment cover lock assembly”

4. Remove wheel cover (left) Refer to “Wheel cover”

5. Remove front door threshold assembly (left) Refer to “Front door threshold assembly”

6. Remove lower trim panel assembly of A pillar (left) Refer to “Lower trim panel assembly of A pillar”

7. Remove engine compartment cover opening handle base assembly

1). Remove 2 fixed bolts of engine compartment cover opening

handle base assembly;

2). Take down engine compartment cover opening handle base

assembly, disconnect connection of engine compartment

cover wiredrawing and engine compartment cover

opening handle base assembly;

8. Remove engine compartment cover wiredrawing assembly

1). Remove hole cover panel behind left front combination

light, disconnect connection of fixed buckle of engine

compartment cover wiredrawing and vehicle body;

2). Pull out wiredrawing guard jacket of front wall panel, and

pull out wiredrawing from engine compartment cover;

△ Note

Don’t damage surface of engine compartment

cover wiredrawing assembly when pulling out
engine compartment cover wiredrawing
assembly.

△ Note

Don’t bend wiredrawing too much, and keep

bending semidiameter in 50mm.

（II）Installation

1. Install engine compartment cover wiredrawing assembly

1). Cross engine compartment cover wiredrawing assembly

guard jacket installation hole of front wall from inside of

fender and install guard jacket;

2). Connect fixed buckle of engine compartment cover

wiredrawing assembly to vehicle body, and install hole

cover panel behind left front combination light;

2. Install engine compartment cover opening handle seat assembly

1). Install engine compartment cover wiredrawing assembly to

opening handle seat;

2). Install and tighten 2 fixed bolts of engine compartment

cover opening handle seat assembly;

Tighten torque

5~7N·m

3. Install lower trim panel assembly of A pillar (left)

4. Install front door threshold guard panel assembly (left)

5. Install front wheel cover (left)

6. Install engine compartment cover lock assembly

7. Install upper cover plate of front bumper

8. Close engine compartment cover

VII、Fender

（I）Remove

1. Open engine compartment cover

2. Disconnect battery negative electrode Refer to “Disconnection and connection of battery electrode”

3. Remove upper cover plate of front bumper Refer to “upper cover plate of front bumper”

4. Remove front bumper assembly Refer to “front bumper assembly”

5. Remove fixed bracket of front bumper assembly Refer to “fixed bracket of front bumper assembly”

6. Remove front combination light assembly Refer to “front combination light assembly”

7. Remove fender cover plate assembly Refer to “fender cover plate assembly”

8. Remove front triangle cover plate assembly

1). Pry front triangle cover plate assembly and take down;

9. Remove fender

1). Remove 5 expansion buckles connecting fender and front

wheel cover;

2). Remove fixed bolt connecting fender and bottom part of

vehicle body;

3). Remove 2 fixed bolts connecting fender and front doorpost;

4). Remove fixed bolt connecting fender and fender headlight

installation bracket assembly;

5). Remove 2 fixed bolts connecting fender and engine

compartment crossbeam assembly;

6). Pry end cover of front windshield and take down;

7). Remove fixed bolt connecting fender and engine

compartment cover hinge assembly;

8). Remove fixed bolt of front triangle cover plate assembly;

9). Take down fender;

（II）Installation

1. Installation fender

1). Place fender to installation position, and tighten fixed bolt

of front triangle cover plate assembly;

Tighten torque

～ 11N·m

2). Install fixed bolt connecting fender and engine

compartment cover hinge assembly;

Tighten torque

～ 11N·m

3). Install end cover of front windshield;

4). Install 2 fixed bolts connecting fender and engine

compartment left crossbeam assembly;

Tighten torque

～ 11N·m

5). Install fixed bolt connecting fender and fender headlight

installation bracket assembly;

Tighten torque

～ 11N·m

6). Install 2 fixed bolts connecting fender and front doorpost;

Tighten torque

～ 11N·m

7). Install fixed bolt connecting fender and bottom part of

vehicle body;

Tighten torque

～ 11N·m

8). Install 5 expansion buckles connecting fender and front

wheel cover;

△ Note

After installation, check whether fender is installed

in place, whether fitting clearance with vehicle body
is proper, if not, should adjust or re-install.

2. Install front triangle cover plate assembly

1). Place front triangle cover plate assembly to installation

position, and tighten buckles;

3. Install fender cover plate assembly

4. Install front combination light assembly

5. Install fixed bracket of front bumper assembly

6. Install front bumper assembly

7. Install upper cover plate of front bumper

8. Connect battery negative electrode

9. Close engine compartment cover

VIII、Fender Headlight Installation Bracket Assembly

（I）Removal

1. Open engine compartment cover

2. Disconnect battery negative electrode Refer to “Disconnection and connection of battery electrode”

3. Remove upper cover plate of front bumper Refer to “Upper cover plate of front bumper”

4. Remove front bumper assembly Refer to “Front bumper assembly”

5. Remove fixed bracket of front bumper assembly Refer to “Fixed bracket of front bumper assembly”

6. Remove fender headlight installation bracket assembly

1). Remove 2 fixed bolts of fender headlight installation

bracket assembly;

2). Remove fixed bolt of fender and fender headlight

installation bracket assembly;

3). Take down fender headlight installation bracket assembly;

（II）Installation

1. Install fender headlight installation bracket assembly

1). Place fender headlight installation bracket assembly to

installation position, and tighten 2 fixed bolts;

Tighten torque

～ 11N·m

2). Install fixed bolt of fender headlight installation bracket

assembly;

Tighten torque

～ 11N·m

（IV）Maintenance Note

(1). Removal and installation method of all vehicle doors are the same.
(2). When removing and installing vehicle door assembly, should do protection to prevent vehicle door and vehicle body

scratch.

(3). After installing vehicle door assembly, must carry out installation adjustment to ensure vehicle door can open/close

normally, and coat hinge installation bolt head (vehicle body color).

(4). Check whether hinge rotating part is lubricated well. If necessary, spread “lubricant”.
(5). Due to vehicle door components mostly are heavy, it needs several persons to help when removing.

II、Front Side Vehicle Door Assembly

（I）Removal

Note

When removing, don’t loosen once, and should remove from up to down.

1. Open engine compartment cover

2. Disconnect battery negative electrode

3. Remove front side vehicle door assembly

1). Remove fixed bolt connecting limit device and vehicle

body;

2). Mark position of upper/lower hinge in vehicle door, remove

vehicle side 2 fixed bolts in upper/lower hinge;

3). Pull up front vehicle door wiring harness rubber jacketing,

disconnect front vehicle door wiring harness, and lift

down vehicle door;

△Note

When removing vehicle door, it needs partner

to lift vehicle door to prevent vehicle door dropping.

（II）Installation

Note

Tighten for several times when installing, don’t tighten for once.

1. Install front side vehicle door assembly

1). Connect wiring harness connector of front vehicle door, and

install wiring harness rubber jacketing;

2). Install vehicle door to hinge according to marked position,

after slight adjustment, tighten 2 fixed bolts both in

upper/lower hinge of vehicle door;

Tighten torque

30~36N·m

△ Note Pay attention to face difference of front vehicle
door and side wall components.

3). Tighten fixed bolt connecting limit device and vehicle body;

Tighten torque

20~24N·m

2. Connect battery negative electrode

3. Close engine compartment cover

（III）Adjustment

1. Adjustment of front vehicle door

1). After installing front vehicle door hinge, check whether installation is proper, if not, please adjust or re-install, in order to

avoid clearance of vehicle door and side wall increasing, rubber strip sealing not well, and cause water leakage;

2). After installing front vehicle door hinge, proper alignment of upper and lower hinge shaft of front vehicle door should
satisfy φ0.5mm.

III、Inner Handle Assembly of Front Side Vehicle Door

（I）Removal

1. Open engine compartment cover

2. Disconnect battery negative electrode

3. Remove front door triangle window cover plate assembly Refer to “Front door trim panel assembly”

4. Remove front door trim panel assembly Refer to “Front door trim panel assembly”

5. Remove inner handle assembly of front side vehicle door

1). Remove 3 fixed bolts connecting inner handle assembly of

front side vehicle door and front door trim panel assembly;

2). Disconnect buckles connecting inner handle assembly of

front side vehicle door and front door trim panel assembly;

3). Take down inner handle assembly of front side vehicle

door;

（II）Installation

1. Install inner handle assembly of front side vehicle door

1). Place inner handle assembly of front side vehicle door to

installation position;

2). Tighten buckles connecting inner handle assembly of front

side vehicle door and front door trim panel assembly;

3). Tighten 3 fixed bolts connecting inner handle assembly of

front side vehicle door and front door trim panel assembly;

Tighten torque

5~7N·m

2. Install front door trim panel assembly

3. Install front door triangle window cover plate assembly

4. Connect battery negative electrode

5. Close engine compartment cover

（III）Check

1. Check extrinsic feature of inner handle assembly of front side vehicle door

1). Check whether surface of inner handle assembly of front side vehicle door is flat, whether there is deformation of scratch,

air bubble etc..
