CLUTCH

General Description

Clutch

(6VE1)

For 6VE1 (3.5L) and 4JX1 (3.0L) engine models, the
pull-type clutch is employed.  The pull-type clutch is

disengaged by pulling the release lever (release bearing)
to disengage the pressure plate.

In order to reduce the occurrence of noises at the clutch
hydraulic system, the damper cylinder is used in the

clutch hydraulic line between the master cylinder and
slave cylinder.
