before installing a new  heated oxygen 
sensor (Use with anti-seize lubricant shown 
below.)
a: J-43897-18 (18 mm dia.) for zirconia

b: J-43897-12 (12 mm dia.) for titania 
heated oxygen sensor

Anti-seize lubricant (Permatex 133AR 
or equivalent meeting MIL

Removal and Installation

REMOVAL

Remove clips on back with clip driver for front air guide.

CAUTION:

Do not damage or scratch cover when installing or removing. 

Major parts and inspection points under each cover are as follows; (numbered as in illustration)

1.

Upper side of engine assembly, power steering reservoir tank, cooling fan reservoir tank

2.

Relay

3.

Cooling fan fluid cooler, power steering fluid cooling tube

4.

Engine assembly front side, drive belts, cooling fan

INSTALLATION

Install in the reverse order of removal.
