5. Connect the oil pressure switch electrical connector.

6. Install the drain plug.

7. Install the front drive axle assembly. For additional information, refer to FRONT DRIVE 

AXLE/DIFFERENTIAL-FORD 8.8-INCH .  

8. Lower the vehicle.  

9. Fill the engine with clean engine oil.  

10. Fill and bleed the engine cooling system. For additional information, refer to ENGINE 

COOLING - F150 PICKUP .

Removal & Installation 

1. Remove the LH exhaust manifold. For additional information, refer to EXHAUST 

MANIFOLD LH .  

2. Remove the oil level indicator.  

3. Remove the bolt.
