All Vehicles  

9. Install the front fender splash shield. For additional information, refer to FRONT END 

BODY PANELS - F150 PICKUP .  

10. On 4x4 vehicles, install the front wheel opening molding. For additional information, refer 

to FRONT END BODY PANELS - F150 PICKUP .  

11. Lower the vehicle.

Removal 

1. Raise and support the vehicle. For additional information, refer to JACKING & 

HOISTING .  

2. Remove the drain plug and drain the engine oil.

3. Drain the engine cooling system. For additional information, refer to ENGINE COOLING 

- F150 PICKUP .  

4. Disconnect the oil pressure switch electrical connector.

5. Remove the oil pressure switch.
