Removal 

All Vehicles  

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, 

MOUNTING AND CABLES - F150 PICKUP . 

Romeo Engine (4.6L)  

NOTE:

Rotate the Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) valve to 
remove.

2. Disconnect the PCV hose and position it aside. Remove the PCV valve from the valve 

cover. 

Windsor Engine (5.4L)  

3. Remove the PCV valve from the valve cover. Position the valve and hoses aside.
