30. Connect the throttle body cam. 

1. Connect the accelerator cable.  

2. Connect the speed control actuator cable.  

3. Install the throttle return spring.

31. Connect the upper radiator hose and position the clamp.

32. Install the air cleaner outlet pipe. .  

33. Connect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, 

MOUNTING AND CABLES - F150 PICKUP .  

34. Fill and bleed the engine cooling system. For additional information, refer to ENGINE 

COOLING - F150 PICKUP .  

INTAKE MANIFOLD - SUPERCHARGED ENGINE 

Removal 

WARNING:

Do not smoke or carry lighted tobacco or open flame of any 
type when working on or near any fuel-related components.

1. Remove the charge air cooler. For additional information, refer to SUPERCHARGER .  

2. Disconnect the fuel hose spring lock couplings. For additional information, refer to FUEL 

LINE CONNECTORS or FUEL LINE FITTINGS .  

3. Drain the engine cooling system. For additional information, refer to ENGINE COOLING 

- F150 PICKUP .  

4. Remove the bolt.

5. Loosen the bolts and position the power steering reservoir bracket aside. 

Highly flammable mixtures are always present and can be 
ignited. Failure to follow these instructions may result in 
personal injury.
