9. Remove the bearing cups and the driveshaft center yoke. 

1. Position the driveshaft center yoke in the special tool.  

2. Press out a bearing cup.  

3. Rotate the driveshaft center yoke 180 degree  

4. Press on the spider to remove the opposite bearing cup.  

5. Remove the driveshaft center yoke.

10. Remove the bearing cups and the spider. 

1. Position the driveshaft yoke in the special tool.  

2. Press out a bearing cup.  

3. Rotate the driveshaft yoke 180 degrees.  

4. Press on the spider to remove the opposite bearing cup.  

5. Remove the spider.

Assembly 

1. Install the new spider and bearing cups. 

1. Start a new bearing cup in the driveshaft yoke. 

z

Check the needle bearings for correct positioning.  

2. Position the new spider in the driveshaft yoke.  

3. Position the driveshaft yoke in the special tool.  

4. Press the bearing cup to just below the snap ring groove. 

z

Repeat to install the new bearing cup on the opposite side of the driveshaft yoke.

3. Position the assembly in the special tool.  

4. Press the bearing cup to just below the snap ring groove.
