14. Push in to release the tab and disconnect the passenger side safety belt retractor pretensioner electrical 

connector.

15. Attach the restraint system diagnostic tool to the passenger side safety belt retractor pretensioner 

electrical connector.

16. Remove the driver side corner upper trim panel. For additional information, refer to INTERIOR TRIM 

AND ORNAMENTATION .  

17. Remove the driver door scuff plate and weatherstripping.

18. Remove the three pin-type retainers, pull out on the driver side lower corner trim panel near the door 

jamb and release the lower corner trim panel from the vehicle.
