7. Remove the nut.

8. Remove the A/C pressure cutoff switch (19D594). 

z

Discard the O-ring seal.

9. Remove the A/C manifold and tube assembly.  

10. To install, reverse the removal procedure. 

z

Install new O-ring seals lubricated in clean PAG oil.  

z

Lubricate the refrigerant system with the correct amount of clean PAG oil. Refer to CLIMATE 
CONTROL SYSTEM .  

11. Evacuate, leak test and charge the refrigerant system. Refer to CLIMATE CONTROL SYSTEM .  

LINE - 4.2L 

Removal and Installation 

1. Recover the refrigerant. Refer to CLIMATE CONTROL SYSTEM .  

2. Disconnect the condenser to evaporator line spring lock coupling from the A/C evaporator core (19860).

Discard the O-ring seals.

3. Disconnect the condenser lower fitting. 

z

Discard the O-ring seal. 

NOTE:

Use a backup wrench to hold the line during disconnection to prevent 
damage to the condenser to evaporator line.
