35. Remove the bearing covers. 

1. Remove the engine dynamic balance shaft bearing cover.  

2. Remove the camshaft bearing cover.

36. Remove the oil pump screen cover and pickup tube. 

1. Remove the nuts.  

2. Remove the two bolts.  

3. Remove the oil pump screen cover and tube.  

4. Remove and discard the gasket

37. Remove the oil pan baffle. 

1. Remove the nuts.  

2. Remove the oil pan baffle.

38. If necessary, remove the ridge at the top of the cylinder. 

1. Turn the crankshaft until the piston to be worked on is at the bottom of the cylinder 

bore.  

2. Place a clean rag on top of the piston to protect the piston face.  

3. Use the Cylinder Ridge Reamer to remove the ridge.
