3. Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, 

MOUNTING AND CABLES - F150 PICKUP .  

4. Raise the vehicle on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING & 

HOISTING .  

5. Disconnect the RH Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) electrical connector.

6. Remove the nuts and disconnect the Y-pipe from the RH exhaust manifold.

7. Remove the two nuts and the engine lifting eye.

8. Remove the RH exhaust manifold and the RH exhaust manifold gasket. 

1. Remove the bolts.  

2. Remove the RH exhaust manifold.  

3. Remove and discard the RH exhaust manifold gasket.

NOTE:

Use a new exhaust manifold gasket.
