NO COMMUNICATION WITH RADIO For the Audio Amplifier system circuit diagram (Refer to 8 - ELECTRICAL/AUDIO - SCHEMATICS AND DIA- For a complete wiring diagram Refer to Section 8W. Possible Causes GROUND CIRCUIT OPEN FUSED B(+) CIRCUIT OPEN FUSED IGNITION SWITCH OUTPUT CIRCUIT OPEN OPEN PCI BUS CIRCUIT 1. ATTEMPT TO COMMUNICATE WITH THE MIC Turn the ignition on. With the DRBIII T , attempt to communicate with the Instrument Cluster. Was the DRBIII T able to I/D or communicate with the Instrument Cluster? Yes >> Go To 2 No >> Refer to the communication symptom list for problems related to no communication with the Instrument Cluster. Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST — VER 1. 2. GROUND CIRCUIT OPEN Turn the ignition off. Disconnect the radio harness connector. Using a 12-volt test light connected to 12-volts, probe the ground circuit. Is the test light illuminated? Yes >> Go To 3 No >> Repair the ground circuit for an open. Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST — VER 1. 3. FUSED B(+) CIRCUIT OPEN Turn the ignition off. Disconnect the Radio harness connector. Using a 12-volt test light connected to ground, probe the Fused B(+) circuits. Is the test light illuminated? Yes >> Go To 4 No >> Repair the Fused B+ circuit for an open.
