Symptom: MIC-HEADLAMP SWITCH INPUT CIRCUIT OPEN POSSIBLE CAUSES INTERMITTENT CONDITION HEADLAMP SWITCH HEADLAMP SWITCH MUX CIRCUIT OPEN INSTRUMENT CLUSTER HEADLAMP SWITCH SENSE CIRCUIT OPEN TEST ACTION APPLICABILITY 1 Turn the ignition on. t, clear all MIC DTC’s. Turn the Headlamps on. t, read the DTC information. Does the DRBIII t read: Headlamp Switch Input Circuit Open? All Yes → Go To 2 No → The condition that caused the symptom is currently not present. Inspect the related wiring for a possible intermittent condition. 2 Disconnect the Headlamp Switch connector. t, read the headlamp switch voltage. Does the DRBIII t display 0.0 volts? All Yes → Replace the Headlamp Switch. Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. No → Go To 3 3 Turn the ignition off. All Yes → Go To 4 No → Repair the Headlamp Switch MUX circuit for an open condition. Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. 357 EXTERIOR LIGHTING |
