CAUTION: Do not use automatic transmission fluid (5) Fill the power steering pump reservoir to cor- rect fluid level. (6) Start engine and turn steering wheel several times from stop to stop to bleed air from fluid in sys- DISASSEMBLY AND ASSEMBLY POWER STEERING FLUID RESERVOIR (2.7L REMOVE The 2.7 liter engine uses a power steering fluid reservoir that is integral to the power steering pump. (1) Remove the power steering pump from the engine. Refer to the procedure in the Removal And (2) Remove the 3 bolts (Fig. 14) mounting the power steering fluid reservoir to the power steering (3) Separate the power steering fluid reservoir from the power steering pump (Fig. 15). The reser- INSTALL (1) Lubricate the O-ring seal on the power steering fluid reservoir (Fig. 16) with fresh clean power steer- (2) Install the power steering fluid reservoir on the power steering pump (Fig. 15).
