Scan Tool Reference Control Module References for scan tool information Circuit/System Testing 1. Ignition OFF, disconnect the ambient air temperature sensor. 2. Ignition OFF, test for less than 1 ohm between the low reference circuit terminal B and ground. If greater than the specified range, test the ground circuit for an open/high resistance. 3. Ignition ON, verify that OC is displayed on the ISRVM display. If not the specified value, test the signal circuit for a short to ground. If the circuit tests 4. Ignition ON, install a 3-amp fused jumper wire between the signal circuit terminal A and ground. Verify that SC is displayed on the ISRVM display. If not the specified value, test the signal circuit for an open/high resistance. If the 5. If all circuits test normal, replace the ambient air temperature sensor.
