1. Remove the input speed sensor (ISS) retaining bolt (247).
2. Use a small tipped screwdriver to carefully pry the ISS wiring harness retaining brackets

from the pump housing. Being careful not to damage retainer clips.
3. Remove the ISS assembly (250).

1. Remove the thrust (pump to drum) washer (601).

2. Remove the pump cover bolts (233).
3. Remove the pump cover (215) from the pump body (200).

1. Remove the pump slide outer spring (245).
2. Place a rag over the spring while removing to prevent the spring from flying out.
