Engine coolant temperature

gauge

It   displays   the   temperature   of   the
engine coolant.

<C – low-temperature zone

During   the   warming   up   process,  the
engine will operate within this zone for
a  short   period   of   time.  It   shall   be
avoided   that   the   engine   operates  at

high speed in this temperature zone.
Meanwhile,  the   working   load   of  the
engine can’t be over-great.

If the  pointer  stays in this zone for  a
long period of time, please drive to the
Cherry  Authorized  Service  Station   to
make your car examined and repaired.

C   to   H  –  normal   temperature
zone

In   the   case   of   normal   driving,   the
pointer shall stay within this zone. The
pointer may drift out of this zone when
the  outside   temperature   is   very   high
and the engine is with heavy load. You
still can  drive  the car  so  long as the
coolant warning lamp does not flash. If

the coolant warning lamp flashes, shut
off   the   engine   and   then   check   the
cooling system. 

>H – overheated zone

If the pointer gets into this red zone, it
indicates   that

 the

 engine   is

overheated.  In   this   case,   please
securely  stop  your   car  immediately,
turn  off   the  ignition  key  and  find  the
cause   of   problem   after   the  engine
cools down.  

Please   don’t  open   the
expansion   tank   cover

when

 the

 engine   is   still

overheated.   Restart   the   engine

only after troubleshooting.

Description:

Installing the auxiliary front headlamp
on   the   front   of   cold   air   inlet   located
under   the   front   bumper   will   make
influence   on   the   circulation   of   the
cooling   airflow,   which   has   some
disadvantages to cool the engine. 

If the outside temperature is very high,
the engine is easily overheated when
the engine operates under heavy load!

The   front  

spoiler

  is  also  used   for

directing the cooling air. It may cause
the engine overheating if the spoiler is
damaged   or   even   broken   due   to

impact. In this case, please get to the
Chery  Authorized  Service  Station   in
time   to  have   the   front   bumper
repaired.

Fuel quantity gauge

Fuel tank capacity: 57 liters.

The fuel tank remains approximate 10

liters fuel when the pointer just point to
the red warning  position (the first red
short bar).

The  pointer  may move away from the
FULL  position   (F)  only  after  the   fuel
tank is refueled to full range and  the
vehicle drives a stretch of distance.

When 

refueling

 the fuel tank again, the

refillable  fuel   quantity  may   slightly
lower   than   the  rated  capability
because   some   fuels   remain   in   the
tank. 

If   the   low   fuel-level   warning   lamp
lights, please refuel A.S.A.P. See “Low
fuel-level warning lamp”.

Speedometer

It indicates the current driving speed of
the car.

NOTICE:

The  speedometer   is   subject   to   the
influence   of   tire  size  of   the   vehicle.
Please use the Chery authorized tires
with   original   size,   otherwise,   the

speedometer may not show the proper
speed of vehicle.

Odometer, digital clock

The total mileage quantity is shown in
the low right part of the odometer. And
the   time   or   one-way   mileage   in
kilometer  is shown  in the  upper right
part. 

Time is displayed in digitals

The  method   to  switch  and   adjust

the  time   and  one-way   mileage
quantity   display  is   illustrated   as

follows:

Press   the   RESET   button   on   the
speedometer   to  switch  the   display
between  time  and   one-way   mileage
quantity. 



When the odometer displays the
one-way   mileage   quantity,   you
can press the RESET button on
the speedometer for a long time
to reset the reading to zero.



When the odometer displays the
time, you can press the RESET
button on the speedometer for a
long time to adjust the clock.
