Instrument Panel

Parking Lamp

The parking lamp works once ignition key

is turned on.

This lamp comes on when parking brake is

on.

Braking system warning light

The brake system lamp works once

ignition key is turned on.

This lamp comes on when parking brake is

on.

The brake fluid level is over low if brake

system lamp does not go out when hand

brake is released. Please fill brake fluid

and keep fluid level surface stay between

minimum level mark and maximum level

mark. After that, please have your brake

system checked by your Cherry Special

Serive Center.

If brake lamp lights up

when you are driving, there may be

a defect in one of the dual hydraulic

brake circuits. Please drive to the

nearest Cherry Special Service

Center and have your brake system

checked by professional technician.

For braking performance severely

coming down is under consideration,

brake pedal travel is noticeably

longer,you should step on the brake

pedal more greatly. Please keep

longer distance from the vehicle

before you when you are driving.

If the brake system warning light

comes on together with ABS warning

lamps, please stop your vehicle

immediately and call Cherry Service

Center to have your brake system

checked before continuing your

journey. .

Open door warning light

Instrument Panel

The open door warning light will be on

when door is open.

Parking Lamp/Position Lamp
(Green)

This lamp comes on when position lamp is

on.

Seatbelt Warning Lamp

The seatbelt warning lamp lights up if the

driver does not fasten his/her safety

seatbelt.

Malfunction indicator lamp

This malfunction indicator lamp lights up

and the engine’s electronic control system

starts to do self-check when ignition key is

turned on. If there is no fault in system,

this warning lamp goes out after

self-check. If it does not go out, please

have your engine checked by Cherry

Special Service Center.

If malfunction indicator lamp comes on

when you are driving, it indicates some

faults occur in the engine’s electronic

control system. Please contact the nearest

Cherry Special Service Center.

Head Beam indicator light

High beams indicator light comes on when

the high beams are on or headlamp flasher

is actuated.

Turn signal indicator light

There are left turn signal indicator lamp

and right turn signal indicator lamp.

Instrument Panel

Whenever you turn on left turn or right

turn signal indicator lamps on the

instrument panel, the corresponding front

and rear turn signal bulb flashes. When

turn on emergency flasher, all the turn

signal lamp will flash.

If the turn signal indicator lamps (green

lights) on the instrument panel flash faster

twice than normal, the corresponding turn

signal bulb is burned out.

Airbags Warning Lamp

Airbags warning lamp should go out after

flashing six times when ignition key is

turned on. If it remains on for six seconds

then goes out, some error codes might

occur. However it does not affect airbags

normal working.

If this lamp comes on while driving, it

indicates a malfunction of the airbags.

Please contact your Cherry Special

Service Center to have your airbags

system checked.

Low Engine Oil Pressure Warning
Lamp

This lamp should flash when ignition key

is turned on and go out when engine is

started.

If either of the following conditions occurs,

please stop the vehicle immediately and

switch off the engine. Check the engine oil

level:

The lamp does not go out when engine is

started.

The lamp flashes when the rotational

speed of engine is over 2000 rpm/second.

Please add engine oil immediately, if

engine oil level is too low.

Please have your engine

checked by Cherry Special Service

Center, if engine oil consumes too

fast.

Instrument Panel

Low beam indicator light

This lamp comes on when ignition key is

turned on and parking lamp (position lamp)

is on.

Discharge battery warning
light

It comes on when ignition key is turned on

and goes out after engine is started.

If this lamp does not go out or comes on

while driving, please stop your vehicle

immediately, switch off your engine and

check generator belt.

If generator belt works properly, please

drive to the nearest Cherry Special Service

Center. You should switch off all

unnecessary electric appliance including

air conditioner while driving due to

continuous discharge of battery.

If generator belt is broken, you are not

allowed to continue driving. Please contact

the nearest Cherry Special Service Center

for assistance.

Coolant Temperature /Level
warning Light

This light goes out after several seconds

when ignition key is turned on. If either of

the following conditions occurs, please

stop the vehicle immediately, then switch

off the engine and check collant level, add

coolant according to specification:

•

The lamp does not go out

•

The lamp flashes and buzzer

alarms when the coolant

temperature is too high or

coolant surface level is too low

Caution: danger of scalding
